Gourmet Walk Merano – our Friday morning classic

The relaxed alternative to the Merano Friday market, instead of visiting a Michelin-starred chef in Merano

A guided three-and-a-half-hour culinary walking tour through Merano. Discover local specialties, engage in conversation with the hosts, experience distinctive flavours, stop at a Michelin-starred chef’s venue, enjoy tastings along the way, and take home insider knowledge.

You will not leave the tour hungry, but neither overly full. Afterwards, there is the option to have lunch at the Michelin-starred restaurant.

On first-name terms with Michelin-starred chef Andrea Fenoglio

Experience Merano’s culinary soul up close! Accompanied by insider tips from local guides, this exclusive gourmet tour leads you to the city’s true flavour highlights. Discover regional variety at Pur Südtirol, taste fine Parmigiano Reggiano and Aceto Balsamico at Via Vai, and enjoy authentic dolce vita with an aperitif and cicchetto at Trattoria La Flora. You will also get a behind-the-scenes look at the Taste Academy, Merano’s cooking school. The absolute highlight: immerse yourself in the finest Italian culinary culture with Michelin-starred chef Andrea Fenoglio and, if you wish, round off your tour with an excellent lunch at Restaurant Sissi (except on 26 June and 3 July).
