Aperitivo Tour on Friday afternoon

Gourmet experience for late risers

4 partners – 4 aperitifs – 4 moments of pleasure

Head out for the perfect mix of a relaxed stroll and enjoyable aperitifs! On this guided culinary tour, you will experience Merano’s most fascinating contrasts up close: Mediterranean flair meets Alpine authenticity, modern touches blend with tradition, and enjoyment takes place both indoors and outdoors. Look forward to exclusive taste experiences at our partner venues: Cicchetteria Kunsthaus, Restaurant Sigmund, Al Boia Partanes, and Hotel Villa Bavaria.

4 Partner - 4 Mal Aperitivo Time

Hotel Villa Bavaria

We stop at a place where Emperor Sissi’s brother Karl Theodor once lived. In the middle of the city, we discover an idyllic, freely accessible oasis—known to very few—and enjoy our aperitif on the terrace.

Restaurant Sigmund

We stop at one of Merano’s most historic restaurants. The culinary delights at Henkerstübele distract us from the dark historical events that once took place in this building.

Al Boia Partanes

Mediterranean cuisine is omnipresent in Merano. Sicilian specialties taste best when they come from a Sicilian—even if he calls himself “Zum Henker.” In the cool dining room of the trattoria, we relax and enjoy food and drinks.

Cicchetteria Kunsthaus

We conclude the finale of our tour with an aperitivo and a Venetian-style bite at the Merano Kunsthaus, beneath the Upper Water Arcades. In Spain, this would be called tapas, while in Venice or Chioggia it is known as cicchetto (pronounced “chiketto”). Small, but very refined.
